Who we are

Jim Carlucci is a native Trentonian with a passion for all things Trenton, NJ.

His interest in the Stephanie Plum books coupled with his deep knowledge of his hometown led him to be tapped to guide a bus tour of the fictionalized Trenton of the series for the Trenton Historical Society in 2004.

Since then, he has provided his insight and guidance to tours for individuals, groups and, most recently, members of the production team working on the “One for the Money” film being shot this summer.  (Alas, the movie is being filmed in Pittsburgh, PA rather than Trenton, but that is another story).

When NPR correspondent Pam Fessler came to Trenton to interview Janet Evanovich for the “Crime in the City” series, Jim was tapped to coordinate and shepherd the entourage around the city.

In June of 2005, Jim co-chaired a street fair and book signing featuring Janet Evanovich as a fundraiser for the local Crime Stoppers chapter.

A resident of Trenton’s historic Mill Hill neighborhood, Jim is also knowledgeable about the city’s role in American history.  Tours relating to Trenton’s role in the American and Industrial Revolutions are also available.

    Hello!
I received a voicemail stating that the Plum Tour has been changed to October 1.
I had originally sent in a check for 2 tickets for the spring, which was changed to Sept 24 and now to Oct 1.
The voicemail was (unfortunately) erased and I don’t have the phone number to call.
Can you please let me know if the tour is still on for Oct 1? what time? where do we go? other tickets available?
    Thanks

  2. Jo-Ann,

Sorry for the delay in answering. It’s hard to get back into the swing of things after a great vacation!

Yes! The tour is still on for Oct 1. The time and location are the same as always…busses depart from the Contemporary Museum, 176 West State Street promptly at 9:30 a.m. For more information you can call 215-295-1498 or 609-737-9128.

    Jim

Do you do Stephanie Plum tours more than once a year? I’m going to be in the area next week and wondered if I’d have to figure out my own way around the sights or there was a tour???
